WagePoint has truly simplified the payroll process. Setting it up is a breeze, and they send out reminders for each payroll cycle while handling all the deductions and remittances. Their seamless integration with accounting software really boosts efficiency.
What’s even better is their customer support; it’s been top-notch, providing quick help during those stressful times. They’ve been super accommodating when we’ve made errors, and every interaction with their team has been nothing short of great. I can’t recommend them enough!

I processed payroll over a two-month span and made sure to indicate this in the pay cycle settings. My sales representative assured me that Wagepoint would handle the deductions correctly, but the employee ended up being taxed at a significantly higher rate. Because of this, they won’t see that $850 (which is a big deal for them) until around mid-2023, since Wagepoint can't fix it in the upcoming payroll.

- The onboarding specialist was super nice and really helpful. Once my account got verified, she scheduled a call with me, was patient, and answered all my questions.
- Now that I'm all set up, the service is running smoothly (still waiting to see how it goes with CRA when tax season hits...)
- Problem #1: Their online bank verification kept timing out and didn’t go through. I tried using different browsers multiple times.
- Problem #2: For the non-online verification, Wagepoint kept talking about two documents: a 'form' and a 'letter', mixing up the terms, but only sent me one. When I asked for more info, they said, 'there's just one document, the letter', but when I brought that letter to my bank, they told me, 'this is just a letter, there should be a form too'. It seems like Wagepoint might have forgotten to send me something and didn’t quite get my request for clarification.

Once Wagepoint is properly configured for a business, handling payroll becomes simple and quite manageable. Naturally, the main factor is the number of staff the business employs. From what I've seen, Wagepoint's customer service is top-notch; they really go the extra mile to ensure users can navigate Wagepoint effectively, which includes checking the setup and providing insights on payroll fundamentals. One area that could use some work is the integration with accounting software, particularly when it comes to reconciling Wagepoint transactions in the financial records: there's not much guidance on this, and a lot of accountants aren't well-versed in Wagepoint to assist.

I've been using Wagepoint for nearly a year now, and I gotta say, one of the things I love most is how they handle the payroll remittance for me. It really saves me a ton of time and keeps me from stressing about late fees if I forget to pay.

I also want to share a little story: there was this one time when one of my clients didn’t have enough funds for their payroll. Wagepoint sent them an invoice for a $100 NSF charge. I reached out to Wagepoint to see if they could waive it since the company was just starting out and struggling with cash flow. They were super understanding and let it go.

The customer service is really poor, showing no respect and offering zero assistance. Robin Jones, who manages part of the team, informed me that they don’t assist customers with paystubs. All I need is some help!

This software is super easy to navigate, and the support team is always on hand if any issues pop up, responding quickly. The price is fair too. I think this program is the easiest to use I've come across, and the reports are straightforward. I'm hoping they’ll add some more features down the line, like options for automatic rates for union dues based on hours worked instead of income. Definitely recommend giving this software a try!

Wagepoint has simplified the process of managing payroll online! However, my main issue is that when you reach out for assistance, the representative on the line often can't provide any answers or support! They just collect your details, and then you’re left waiting for someone to follow up, which might take a whole day! This can be super annoying when you need help fast! I reckon Wagepoint could really step up by having a few techs available to tackle urgent questions and provide immediate assistance.
